    I have to rebut the former review. You are 1km from Kingscote which is on Nepean Bay. There is a pool and all along the bay for swimming. a park for kids and a couple of places for bbq's. So close to the town for restaurants and shopping and yet still have the natural beauty of the countryside, it is not a horse paddock, though it is covered with wallabies at night which is one of its beauties. Any further out of Kingscote you can't drive at night because of the animals on the road, Kingscote has a couple of great eating places so no need to cook on your holiday. Best of both worlds really, and staying in a cabin is so much nicer than staying in motel rooms.
